Signee is a Washington-raised, Boston-based artist who draws inspiration from the birds and the trees. Her music is a moody, alternative rock with influence from jazz and synth-pop. As a classically trained pianist as well as a saxophonist with both concert and jazz experience, Signee finds it impossible to make music without those seeping through. She began playing music at five, and wrote her own shortly after. In her teenage years, she wrote poems and lyrics and began recording and producing on her laptop. Signee studied at Berklee College of Music, where she got a degree in Independent Recording and Production. 

The upcoming debut EP serves to lay the foundation of what to expect from Signee. Its lyrics discuss anxiety, relationships, and a sense of home, and sends you into a trance with synths, arpeggiators, and healthily reverbed guitars. Signee collaborates with other Boston based artists to bring together a cohesive alternative rock experience.
